Victory!
What I have there, in my hot little hands, is not a list of known Communists. No, it's a Certificate of Competency, which is what you are given after you pass your driving test.
I'll be posting about it in detail later, but I'm just so excited, I'm telling everyone. (At least you all don't have to get subjected to a phone call in which I don't even say 'hello', I just shout "I passed! I passed! I PAAAASSED!")

Happy valentines Day!!!!!!!
Congrats. Ann. Well done. That must be a weight off the mind.
When I saw the word "victory", I already knew you'd passed. That picture, though, is priceless!
Congrats! Finally, good trumps evil. ;-)

Listen people, in Europe they are very strict and tough to please!
I am very happy for you Ann, because I know that this is a true victory and I do like seeing that big smiling face on the picture.
Now you can go out and tootle around all over the place.

Thank you so much. :) I'm afraid, for the next few days you will probably read more about the test than you ever wanted to.
I'm still so very excited and happy. We drove into Cork City today and I got my proper license. Very happy!
Congrats, Ann!
Now I need to read your story about it.
It's difficult to get the feeling back that was felt the day the world of independence/ travel/adventure opened up when the authority figure said "You passed" but that feeling resurfaced when I saw the ear to ear smile on your face........Well done. Peace and Love AL
